cold stone franchise about to go out of business?

there is a Cold Stone Creamery here in astoria that may go out of business due to the recent blackout. the owner lost all of his stock, plus his main freezer and AC got fried due to the surges/brownouts that happened.

it would be crying shame to see this guy close up shop. he just opened up in october, sunk a huge amount of cash into it and now because of Con ed's lack of regular maintenance on their infrastructure he may go out of business.


the time has come for Con ed to fess up and fix the problems they have caused and make sure that small businesses dont go under because of their incompetance.

the line workers at con ed do a fine job, dont get me wrong. but they just follow the orders of the execs, who only look at the bottom line.

i hope that the state energy commission never allows con ed a rate increase again.
