Where's NYC's liberal daily? |
|
why are we stuck with these rabid right-wing rags like the sun, the post and the wall street journal. their editorial slants are just over-the-top, their reporting is biased and the times is hopelessly safe and scared.
why doesn't this bluest of cities have a real left-voice daily to counteract these other papers?

The paper that bent over backwards to sell us the invasion of Iraq? The paper that participated in the $70 million interrogation of Bill Clinton until they could find a blowjob? The paper that has repeatedly had to apologize for their own reporting?
They only allow themselves to be called liberal, but their actual liberal content is token at best.

2. Excellent question. Would Newsday be about as close as it gets? |

3. The liberal tabloid -- Newsday |
|
It is technically a Long Island/Queens paper, but it is widely available in the city and covers the city just like the others.
It is far more liberal than any other tab and more liberal than the Times.
