Hi From Colorado

I'm currently in town visiting in-laws in Brooklyn. We'll head to Manhattan tomorrow to do some shopping. Just wanted to say hi to my fellow New York DU'ers.. if any of you have a shop in Manhattan or Brooklyn that they want me to come and support (by buying trinkets or the like), just drop me a note, and I'll make my effort.

I'm here until Sunday. Yeah, I'm getting out before Chimp crows 9/11 in NYC again *groan*

I was here days after the 9/11 aftermath. We had plans to fly to NYC on 9/13. We eventually flew on 9/15 and stayed for 5 days. You could certainly smell the smoke that came from the WTC. Still makes me cry to think about it.

However, I'm far north of NYC, closer to the Canadian border, LOL, but I still hope that you enjoyed your visit to my lovely state. The next time you venture East, check out the NY North Country! We don't have the steep mountains that you have in Colorado (I have family near Denver), but I still guarantee that you won't be disappointed!:D
