Town of North Greenbush GOP Chairman Vincent Sculco apparently engaged in a massive voter fraud and then left town, perhaps to evade prosecution.

But that is far from the only twist in this case, which got underway Friday. In fact, the political intrigue could also involve a town chairman, who is among the missing. NEWS10's John McLoughlin was the only TV reporter in court, as the civil case got started.

And in a shocking development Friday, the town GOP admits in court that its chairman, Vincent Sculco - a high-level patronage job-holder during the Pataki days - submitted 42 forged signatures.
"This was one person, that perhaps did something very wrong," says Jeffrey Cleary, supervisor candidate.
