... to respond to an email? My son's been without bussing for two weeks now while I play pussyfoot and telephone tag with the DOE and it's subsidiary agencies. Two emails to Klein have gone unresponded to.

I thought Klein and Mayor Blootiful were gonna put an end to all that bureaucratic nonesense. I beleived that 'cause he SAID that in every ad that ran every 5 minutes on radio and tv when he ran for reelection two years ago. ( OK ...I really didn't... but it works better if I say I DID.)

So... my kid needs bussing.... BADLY. Any ideas?

2. Called 311 today. They told me to call OPT....

.... Office of Pupil Transportation... like I haven't beeen doing that without success for almost a month now.

The bus he needs to be on passes my building EVERY morning. All that's needed is for someone to tell OPT to tell the private bus company contractor to add him to the run and STOP when they get to my house, let the kid on and proceed to their common destination.

IT IS NOT A COMPLICATED PROBLEM.

Koppell is the Councildude and helped with the first phase of it but OPT bleeped up again ( put him on the wrong bus) and we're back to square one.

3. I know ... it's frustrating, but the system is built to respond to

multiple requests. Keep track of the reference numbers, mention them when you call and append. This produces notices to officials above the proverbial blockage and eventually, will result in something.
