Do you personally know another New Yorker who was a Bush voter in '04, but will now vote for Obama?

The reason I ask is because I need to feel better that there will be someone to offset what I see as Geraldine Ferraro's likely vote for McCain.

Thanks for the help.

1. Ask Ed Koch or Hugh Carey
if their lifelong grudge against the party might be offset by a vote for Obama. Koch will be publishing his mystery choice after the GOP Convention. So far it hads been glowing toward ALL the candidates, including Palin and focuses on abortion as THE issue of the year. Somewhat wise, somewhat insane, fairly imbalanced. Don't bring up his replacement by Mayor Dinkins.

As Koch goes, so go the fringe disgruntled.

4. Hard to say. Certain relatives who probably voted....
... for Bush but did so quietly in '04 so as not to rile me.... are likely to vote Obama. They *hint* at this.

They will vote DEM... if they DO...primarily because of the economy.

The economy pisses off a lot of people like no other issue. To me, it's minor; second tier.

Go figure.

5. I don't think there is a chance that NY won't go for Obama
But on the other hand, I have spoken with many New Yorkers who previously voted for Bush and who will now be voting for Obama. And I see Ed Koch just came out with a statement that Palin "scares" him!!

6. I NEED TWO MORE NAMES
To cancel out Lynn Forester de Rothschild and Donald Trump.

Again, I need Bush 2004 voters who are voting for Obama in New York in 2008.

Thanks.
