Is there early voting in NYS?

I thought I had found where NYC residents can early vote in each borough but I cannot find it now. Help please!~

1. Absentee voting but not early voting

I just cast an absentee ballot today. In order to get the absentee ballot, you have to state why you are unable to vote in person on election day.

2. You can cast an absentee ballot personally at your county (borough) Board of Elections.

Every county in the state has one.
