got laid off today...anyone have IT connections in the city?
i have a decent resume, and found a job two weeks after moving to the city around eight weeks ago.

i got laid off today because business has been so slow, but if anyone knows anything...please get in touch here. ive got great references, not a jerk, and the nicest person youve ever met.

i know its thought out there but i thought i would give it a shot.

2. What is your skill set?
C++, Java, C#? A lot of I-Banks are always looking for IT folks to improve trading. It is always helpful if you can write super efficient, clean, reusable, and robust code. Milliseconds matter in that business as does fast delivery of ptojects, so it is a bit stressful, but the pay is better than most other IT jobs.
