My mom has to give her cat away. She runs a B&B and her cat Zeph plays rough with some of her whiny guests.
I'm sure I'm breaking rules posting this but whatever, he's a great cat, I'd like him to go to a Democratic home.
He's in Waynesville.

I don't know why she made this sign so hard to read:

1. Will put the word out in Hillsborough!
I wish I could take him! What a good-looking guy. . . . I know a couple of folks that might love to have Zeph. I'll give it a try.

What a shame that your mom has to let him go.

2. Good! ty
Thanks for thinking of Zephie! :loveya:

I can't take him because I'm in a crowded suburb and Zeph couldn't stand to be an indoor cat in a place like this, he wants space, he's a country kitty.

My mom won't give him up unless she knows he'll be safe and happy so the situation's not desperate yet. But she's worried about how he bites. He acts all sweet with guests at the inn then rolls over to show his tummy and as soon as they pet it he bites them! My mom warns people not to rub his tummy but they do it anyway :eyes: He's playing but his bites hurt sometimes.
He's very active and isn't really a lap cat yet but he does like people's attention. And he likes dogs too.. that's a sad part of it, my mom's dog Scratch will really miss Zephy, they play so much.

I covered up her phone number to post the sign on photobucket but it's 828-456-3877, just in case anyone you know has space for him! Mama and my aunts are spreading the word, thanks to the internets.
I'm kind of hoping she'll change her mind and just keep him but the inn really is their whole life right now.. keeping the bratty guests comfortable and happy.

(I think your name rocks, Grits and North Carolina are two of my very favorite things in the world. :headbang: I'm in VA now but I will get back to NC someday!)
