4. I remember signing a letter/petition thing about that. He ALWAYS answers them...

...and is always on point. Of course they're form letters but the fact that he takes time to answer the concerns of his constituents - and he does so consistently, says a lot. He is a great public servant.

2. If you met him in person, you'd like him even more.

He really is a very nice guy, on top of his sensible policy positions.

Maybe this means the earth will shortly open up beneath our feet and swallow us.

3. I wouldn't mind meeting him someday soon. He's an excellent congressman...

...and I'd like to tell him how much I appreciate his work on our behalf.

Of course I can write him a letter (and likely will) but it's not the same as blubbering it in person! :p
