RALEIGH, NC – Senator Barack Obama’s North Carolina campaign today announced that Obama will visit Raleigh on Tuesday, August 19 to address his plan to put the economy back on track. Obama was last in North Carolina on June 9, returning after his victory in the May Primary. He has made nine campaign visits to the state, reaffirming his commitment to North Carolina. On Wednesday, N.C. Governor Mike Easley joined the national campaign and N.C. state director Marc Farinella on a conference call to lay out the issues and the organization that will lead the campaign to victory here in November.

TICKETS: This event is free and open to the public. However, tickets are REQUIRED. A limited number of tickets are available. There is a limit of two tickets per adult and one ticket for people under 16. Members of the public are invited to pick up free tickets at the following locations beginning Monday, August 18th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, or until tickets are no longer available.
