1. you cant campaign within a certain specified distance of the voting building.. you will see tables

outside of that area with campaign material.. tee shirts are campaign material with a candidates image or name, information

4. Not true - unless you are a poll worker

The only ones who may not wear political gear are poll workers. (I am a poll worker). However, if you are there to vote at the precinct you may wear anything you want. You may not politic inside the polling place, however. Campaigners must stay 50 (fifty) feet away from the polling place. The area is usually marked by tape and signs. (This is true in NC only - I don't know about other states).
