No - I'm not too pleased with Harry Reid, he has done too little, and usually not shown strength: but I do like this and want you to read it as well.

Over the next few weeks we need to have two priorities. First, electing Barack Obama President of the United States and second, making sure he has 60 Democratic votes in the Senate so Republicans do not filibuster his agenda.

In order to get to 60, one Senate seat Democrats MUST win is North Carolina. Thankfully, Elizabeth Dole is on the run. A new poll from Public Policy Polling shows Democratic candidate Kay Hagan leading her 49% to 40%.

We know what Republicans do when they are up against the ropes. We need to make sure Kay Hagan has the resources to take on the smears that are sure to come.

Contribute to Kay Hagan's campaign today and make sure Barack Obama has the 60 votes he needs to pass his agenda.

When Congress adjourned last week, most Senators headed back to their home states. Right now I am in Nevada, making sure Barack Obama will win this critical swing state.

Elizabeth Dole went home as well - to the Watergate Hotel in downtown D.C., where she held a fundraiser with her true constituents, Washington lobbyists and their corporate benefactors.

In fact, Elizabeth Dole spent only 13 days in North Carolina in 2006 and only 20 in 2005. With so little time at home, it's shocking that she wouldn't want at least a little face time with her constituents.

With the election less than a month away, conservatives are going to pump millions of dollars into North Carolina to try and save Elizabeth Dole. Kay Hagan needs all the help she can get.
