Tires slashed near Obama rally

Fayetteville, N.C. — Tires were slashed on 11 vehicles parked along Wilkes Road near Fayetteville's Crown Coliseum, where Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama held a rally, on Sunday, officers said.

The first report came in around 2 p.m., Debbie Tanna, a spokeswoman for the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, said. Some of the vehicles belonged to people attending the Obama rally.
