Why are we getting SNOW in November?!?
Weatherman says we might get more snow come early morning.

That will be the second time this month. The first was Monday, I think.

I don't remember any snow in NC in November in, well, ever.

Is this odd or what?

1. I remember snow on Halloween once, when I was a kid.
It happens from time to time. But, this will be the third flurry, which is a little odd.

According to the signs, it will be a very snowy winter.

2. I remember one white Xmas
when I was maybe 5 or 6. After that, it's all January February and sometimes March snows.

3. I think there's been a November snow in my time here.
But it wasn't a long hard snow. It's just like today - a little dusting of about an inch.

Enough to delay the schools for an hour, and probably cause absenteeism at work.

Mark.

4. It's unusually cold for November...or so it seems anyway.
Not that I keep records but it seems it never got this cold (usually) until much later in Winter.

BRRR! I hate it.

5. Usually has come in January IIRC. But global warming would affect circulation patterns
and that would change when and where cold and moist airs met

6. The ice storm in 2002 came in fairly early December
and in 2000, when I moved down here, we had snow in late November. I remember because my high school had a delay, which was ri-god-damn-diculous.

7. yes we did
It snowed right around Thanksgiving in Charlotte in 2000. Had a house full of teenagers - can't forget that!
