I haven't made up mind in the Senate race yet, so those who have, who are you voting for and why?

I am leaning in favor of Elaine Marshall but haven't made up my mind yet.

1. That's about where I am, dsc
I don't know just yet. But do know that I want to go to early voting.

2. Elaine Marshall for me.
Why?

One reason:
http://www.elainemarshall.org/page/civil-rights

She is for civil rights. She has a long history in this state of being for civil rights for all. That matters a lot to me.

Also, there is more information about her upfront willingness to go on the record about civil rights before the other candidates (and more forcefully, might I add) here:
http://pamshouseblend.com/diary/15869/ncus-senate-and-the-blend-endorses

One of my other issues:
http://www.elainemarshall.org/page/energy-and-environment

She is a strong advocate of greener policies and putting people to work in that field, which I think is the best way to support healing Earth. Unless there is a way to put some money and government effort behind it, it will remain a piecemeal effort by individual citizens. While that helps, until some real concerted effort by government and citizens is coordinated and implemented, we will continue to poison and pollute the place where we live. We kinda need Earth to live so we will have a place to live.

Those are my main two reasons. There are others, but those two really stand out to me. She's the best one of the bunch, imho.

3. I think I have made up my mind
Cal is not raising funds well and is very disappointing on both gay issues and union ones. If he doesn't have electability advantages then I don't see the point.

4. I dropped by Pam's Blend a while back and got the impression
all three candidates were saying the right stuff about civil rights, dsc. But Ken has no political experience, as far as I can tell, and Cal's only ever served one term in the state house, whereas Elaine has won two state-wide contests as SoS, where I think shes doing a good job. I haven't met Ken; I spoke with Cal briefly once, and he seemed pleasant and energetic and photogenic; I've met Elaine three or four times, and I think she's smart and feisty and funny, as well as politically savvy. I'm going with Elaine, as my guess for best-prepared to campaign and best-qualified for office, but of course in the general election I'll support whoever comes out of the primary

5. I'm going with Elaine, too.
Most of the same reasons stated by others. Was leaning that way and clarifications on platform have closed the deal for me. Cal has been a little too clever (by half?) in some of his positions.

Easy to vote for whoever wins the primary.

6. After much research I finally went with Elaine Marshall.
Where I'm struggling is with the judges -- I haven't been able to find much info on many of them. Thanks to the conservatives online, I was able to eliminate Steven Walker, Rick Elmore & Ann Marie Calabria -- they're all being supported by Republicans/conservatives. Still trying to research others.
