Anybody else here sick to death of all the Palin coverage at the NRA Convention

I know I am. I have heard sound bytes of her voice on the news so much today, I am ready to scream. I finally just started muting any news that wasn't weather.

An interesting side note:
My aunt, a veteran from the cold war era, said today: "If Palin ever becomes president, I will buy a fiberglass bathtub, a stopper, and a couple plungers from Lowe's and sail to Cuba. There is just no way in hell I'd stay here for that."

I almost busted a gut laughing when she said that.

1. Palin is a celebrity, not a real politician.

Chances of her becoming President are rapidly approaching zero at an alarming rate. And they were pretty much non-existent after her loss in 2008, her resignation in 2009 and her non-accomplishments since then.

5. Unfortunately I had

to drive home through Charlotte on Friday ant the traffic was horrible, even in the early afternoon. Sarah and the NRA in Charlotte at the same time. Glad Charlotte is not my home.
