1. Last I heard, it was pretty close between Elaine Marshall and Richard Burr.

It was an 8 point spread, but she clearly beat him in the locally televised debates just recently. I wouldn't be surprised if it got closer as we go along.

2. Ignore them. Get out and do the legwork

3. Do low level groundwork within my network of friends

and family.

Temporary health conditions are getting in the way of me doing more. I talk to every person I meet during my daily life. Cashiers, neighbors, email friends. It's going ok. I so hope Marshall wins. I've written Burr my views on issues and received a mass mailing after a vote of why he voted against any bill that I've written about.
