in fact, i am interested in having a local demonstration of solidarity with those in WI - know of anything?

sadly though my job keeps me busy and/or exhausted all week long so i am generally only available on weekends. special events and i make the extra effort though. :)

i work in chapel hill (durham county) and live in N raleigh.

8. Yes. Especially if this voter ID atrocity passes.

I've volunteered in numerous capacities, but never in actually helping folks obtain IDs. Who might spearhead such an effort -- the NAACP, Democratic Party, BlueNC? I'm not thrilled with many of Obama's policies, but I'll work like a muthasucka to make sure people can vote.
