I hate it, too. He's great. But Person County (where I am unfortunate enough to live at the present), though overwhelmingly registered "Democratic", is in fact a Teakkklanner hell. In 2008, the citizenry voted for all Dem candidates EXCEPT president (which tells you what you need to know). Last year's election, they were all TKKK all the time. Sigh.
