hi
i have learned of an elderly lady in her 80s who lives in cary 27513 (moved from texas over a year ago) and could use some easy help. she lives with family who are amazingly disinterested in helping her. she is usually alone and has a great deal of pain. one of the main issues is that her family has banished her dog outside so because of her disabling pain she cannot get up and down to visit with her dog outdoors.
she has a good mind and sees fine so doesnt need a great deal of help but if you (or someone reliable and sweet that you know) could at least get over there to let the dog in and out a time or two (whether that is daily or weekly - anything would be great) just so they could visit that would be a wonderful help. and if time and interest allow perhaps take her to a chiropractor but that is not what i am asking for initially - just letting the dog in to see her for a little bit.
i live out of state or i would gladly do it but i have been on hold with wake co senior services to see if there are any programs to assist her at all.
is there anyone here or someone you know who is interested? i would love a volunteer but i understand if someone needs a little stipend so i would come up with that if needed.
thank you so much for any leads again i am looking for someone reliable and kind-hearted especially as her family seems to be neither
