is a lying sack of republiCON shit. He has been all over fox and Cnn pretending AS ALWAYS that he is a DEMOCRAT and believes in Democratic values. He and Saxby Chambiliss and other repubs have been yuckking it up about the committee and going big.

After the last election when his teabaggers took office he came on MOrning joe,fox and elsewhere smiling and bragging about how now he can get things done. When they say go big we know what that means because the Dems on the committee are going along with most of their cuts..

I really don't understand how anyone, on the progressive side of the spectrum, with any knowledge of NC politics, could look at NC's congressional delegation and conclude that D Shuler is the problem: R Virginia Foxx or R Patrick McHenry (say) seem much more regressive to me and much more appropriate targets

Shuler represents one of the most right-leaning districts in the south. I don't really have a problem with his personal positions or how he represents his constituents. I do have a problem with him trying to insert himself into the leadership. His positions are just silly on a national level for Democrats.
