Greensboro Area Candlelight Vigil August 28th

Good evening, everyone. I know Move On is having a nation wide candle light vigil, for Cindy Sheehan, this Wednesday night. I feel this is really too soon to get something solid planned. I also feel this needs more attention and respect than to be thrown together at the last minute.

It is with these thoughts that I have decided to put together a candlelight vigil for the people of Greensboro and surrounding areas. The date will be Sunday August 28th and the time will be 7 PM. Anyone interested should meet me at the corner of Bridford Parkway and Wendover Avenue next to the Taco Bell.

Feel free to email me to confirm attendance as well as passing on the invite to anyone who may be interested. We need as many to show up as possible.

By the way. I wrote to all of the Democratic representatives in our area and Pricey Harrison said she has a scheduling conflict but that she is going to try and make it anyway.
