Norman Keul, Jackie's father, said he took his family to the vigil because he disagreed with the premise of the war, how it has been conducted, the aftermath and the torture of prisoners that have occurred in its wake.
"Where do you begin criticizing this war?" asked Keul, who was wearing a "War is not the answer" pin on his collar. "We got out of Vietnam and everybody survived that. We can survive this, too."
