I am posting this for a Triangle area friend who needs to find her little Pup a new home...

I am sadly looking for a new home for my dog, Milo, who no longer has a
fanced-in yard in which to play or another dog with whom to play. Milo is an 18 pound beagle-dachund mix, approx. 18 months old, neutered, up-to-date on all shots. He is very sweet, social and energetic, and he needs a home with lots of space in which to play, preferably with one or two other dogs. At least a couple pets have found homes there. I wish you the best of luck finding a home for him. Beagles and dachsunds are both awesome breeds IMO.

2. The Winston-Salem chapter of Freecycle

seems to consistently find homes for pets. Maybe there is a Triangle chapter where you could post your offering.
