anyone feel the earthquake in Asheville around 11:15 pm
came home from an evening out, and it seemed as though a chopper was landing on the house. Very brief, but pretty different! One of the cabinets rattle slightly for a few seconds longer.....

6. felt one here in 98? 99?
in Chapel Hill. I was in a basement library working. For a few moments i didn't know if the floor was going to come up, or the 2 stories above me were going to come down (of course that was a rapid speculation in my mind, not actual).

It didn't even get reported on the local news until the next day ...

in an uproar. LOL

When I was a teenager, it was the Baptist kids who got all the cool jobs at Lake Junaluska in the summer -- us Methodist kids did't stand a chance. What the hell are they pissed about now?

22. Meeting of gay/lesbian group
Not affiliated with the methodist per se just using the facilities
but the baptist have lit up the ltte of the mountaineer the last two weeks
even the methodists passed out a letter from the bishop who said it did not go
against the meth. discipline. my mom said she might come back this weekend to check it out. Possible Baptist protest. I haven't read any papers in a while yet i know it has stirred up those who want to judge others

Felt it in Candler (West of Asheville). I too thought it was a truck at first, but it rattled too hard and too long. I reported it.
