Now is the time to press your County BOE members for the best voting equipment.
The Board of Elections is leaning towards the less reliable touchscreen machines, because it makes the Director's job easier....
So why is George Gilbert asking Guilford County to buy a far more expensive system that he says is horrible?

Guilford County should follow the advice of Dr. Rebecca Mercuri , Justin Moore of Duke University, and the Verified Voting Foundation - who recommend optical scan over touchscreen voting.
Optical scan voting is more accurate, reliable, and can be audited far more easily.....
