This event will bring the spotlight of international news (
real news, 100% runaway-bride-free) to the Triangle. Seems like a good opportunity for some activism. I don't know if I'll have time to plan anything myself, though. Anybody want to jump on this?

DURHAM -- A million people in the United States and as many as five million worldwide will listen to the BBC Newshour with Robin Lustig in a live broadcast Monday morning from Durham.
Lustig's radio show will be broadcast at 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. from North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC's studio at the American Tobacco District downtown.
In the process, some history will be made. The BBC has never before broadcast a live radio show from a non-BBC studio, WUNC officials say.
And curious residents will be able to watch the broadcast in a 400-seat studio. Although about a quarter of the seats already have been reserved, hundreds remain available.
WUNC general manager Joan Siefert Rose expects a full house and suggests reserving a seat as soon as possible.
