2. Does anyone here have experience with starting up new HQ or

organizing precincts? If you could check out our web page and give any hints or suggestions of what we can do it would be so helpful. We're trying to wedge a lot into the last 9 months we have and any info that will help us get it right the first time is what we're looking for.

Does anyone have any experience with fundraisers and can pass on any ideas for us? We have a catch 22 thing going on where we need funds to ask for donations so we can stay in touch with the people in each of our precincts as we get everything together.

3. I plan to do some freelance voter registration

in the part of Mecklenberg that is in the 8th. Let me know if you have any suggestions for locations or know of any groups over in that area that want to register voters and need help to get up and running.

I am struggling to organize my precinct. Several of us have made an effort to get a precinct organization group here on DU. I have emailed the Admins several times, but haven't got a definitive answer yet. I will post if I hear anything on that.

I've seen you post here and there on DU but had no idea we have the same goals in mind. I'm thinking that we in the North Carolina forum aren't using DU to it's fullest potential and if we got together and found out who is working where, we'd be able to make faster tracks together.

4. organized mine

I got my Mint Hill precinct organized. The county party wil send you a list of active Dems in your precinct if you want to organize. The county convention is April 1st.
