Poll question: Triangle DUers! February Get Together Locale - This Sat 2/25!
Edited on Mon Feb-20-06 07:34 PM by supernova
Please vote for a location before Friday night 2/24 for our meetup on Saturday 2/25.

Can't wait to see you all! :D :D

These are some of the places we've met previously and provide a nice atmosphere to talk and eat. If you think of a different place, please let us know. :-)

2. I love that place, and oddly
I keep forgetting about it. It's so tucked away. When I was thinking of places tonight I finally remembered that it's been ages since I've been there. :-)

3. Margaret's Cantina-I voted for it..
Is this in Tymberline shopping center?
Is it non-smoking only?

4. Yes, it's in Timberlyne
I can't recall if it's all non-smoking or not. I do know they have non-smoking areas though.

5. I'll be there, (I hope) and puff outside if need be. My plan is to go
see Burt Bacharach with the NC symphony at 8 sharp in Raleigh. If the meetup is early, it'll work out great for me. I can get free tickets anytime for the NC symph. Lemme Know.

6. Margaret's sounds good.
Any of these would be good to me.

If we go to Margaret's, they close at 10 so we might want to meet an hour or so earlier than we usually do.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.:)

8. Yes
On some website it said they closed at 9, so I called and asked for Saturday night and they said they closed at 10. I was kind of surprised too but it's not on Franklin Street so maybe they don't get much late night action.

5 would be fine by me.

10. yeah- it definitely closes early
And they'll start giving you the "look of death" if you're not about to pay your bill and get out of there when they're getting ready to close.

If we still want to hang out after that, there's a decent bar/pool hall right in the timberlyne complex- the only catch is that someone needs to be a member in order to get in. I'm a member, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

11. 5 tomorrow would be great!! Could I bring my dad?
He's not a DUer, but he's a hardcore lib. I'm trying to get him on this site. He thinks he's "too old" to maneuver around a website, and he's a retired linguistics professor! LOL!

12. He'll fit right in!
He can flirt with CalPeggy! ;-) Sure, we'd love to meet both of you. We're (mostly) harmless. :pals:

Trying to get ahold of Struggle4Progress. He usually posts in LBN but we haven't seen him this week.

17. If I can make it, it won't be until a little late
We have a family thing going this afternoon. Think it's worth showing up if I can't be there until 6 or 7? I'd love to meet all you guys one of these days...maybe next month...
