Wasn't sure if anyone else knew this or not...

I live in Boone and am able to pick up "Air Atlanta" (Atlanta's AAR affiliate) 1690 AM at night with only a little interference. If I can get it all the way up here I'd imagine the entire Western half of the state can.

In Durham I can always get WCHL in Chapel Hill, but it's barely an "affiliate". They only carry Franken, Ring of Fire, and occasionally the Majority Report when it doesn't interfere with a basketball game.

That's how I get Air America.

However I guess people would then be able to get Malloy and the Majority Report on FTA radio. As we go into summer we'll have less Majority Report but hey, that's the nature of AM.

I just like fooling around with the ol' radio late at night sometimes to see which stations I can pick up on AM.
