18. when I called them to get tix they said...
...that the only showings scheduled so far are the 2 on Thursday the 15th. They said there may be other showings scheduled on subsequent Thursdays but no other information was given. They were sort of non-committal about it. The site says "Check back for the following week's showtimes"

Best to call them and see what they say. So far those are the only two showings listed at Carolina.

19. ****NEW Chapel Hill Theatre*****
Well, I've been watching the climatecrisis website to update their theatre listings. But that same message has been up there since Saturday. :P

I found out that the Chapel Hill showings have been moved to the VARSITY Theatre, starting on Friday, June 16.

There are two showings: 7:30 and 9:15 See here for more times:

http://movies.raleighlist.org/Varsity-Theatre-Fri.htm

I can go either Friday night or Sunday. :-)

20. We haven't met in CH for a while and it has the added advantage ..
.. of not being too close to the Durham Athletic Park.

I could go either Friday or Saturday.

I'd vote against Thursday in Durham cuz I'd be coming from work in CH & it's a bit inconvenient for me -- but I'll show up there if that's what people decide. :hi:

Mediterranean Deli
410 W Franklin St
Chapel Hill, NC 27516-2313

I will just go to chapel hill from work and get the tickets early. I tried to call them a couple of times yesterday, but there was no answer. :P So I'm just going to go up to the box office myself. That way we won't have to worry about standing in line for tickets.

Here's the Varsity Theatre address:

Varsity Theatre

Chapel Hill, NC 27514

Can't wait to see you guys!

I am tired of waiting. Hope to see you. I'll wear my Dem-underground shirt. I wish we could buy tickets on-line.
I can't believe most places it is only playing 1 day.
