Rally in Raleigh Today

In light of the recent violence and collective punishment carried out by Israel against the people of Lebanon, a group of local activists is pulling together a demostration tomorrow, Saturday, July 29 at the Fayetteville Street Mall Re-opening. We will be gather at around 5:30pm on the Morgan St. side of the State Capitol. This is to draw attention to Israel's use of unrestrained violence against Lebanon as well as the US's position of supporting Israel, both militarily and monetarily, and the push to extend the war further into Syria and Iran. By holding this demonstration at the Fayetteville St. re-opening, we hope to bring the issue into mainstream America's consciousness.
