First, when does early voting start in Durham, Wake and Franklin Counties?

Then, how do I get a list of judges with party affiliation? I want to go to the polling place armed and I want my coworkers to be prepared to vote Dem as well.

I hate that they took the party affiliation off the ballots for judges. Being somewhat suspicious I believe it was so the right-wingers could sneak a few more activist judges into office.

4. non partisan judges

Actually it was a bipartisan coalition that worked to make the races non partisan. There were many groups from both sides of the aisle that worked for this. The bill that provided for this was the same one that provided for publically financed elections for our state wide judge races and also provided a voter guide that is mailed to every house hold in NC.

NC is one of a hand full of states that has any form of publically financed elections and we are held up as a shining example that many other groups want their states to follow
