Senators Dole & Burr are "undecided" on torture bill! Please call (xpost)

They are taking calls from North Carolinians.

I called both of them. Please do so if you are in NC. (I will cross-post this as well in the NC forum.)

I told their staffers that being pro-torture is un-Christian and that Christians will rise up and oppose any pro-torture candidate.

I also told them that I couldn't believe that I was having to call to ask my senators to vote against torture. I still can't.

I want to be around in 08 when Dole is up for re-election. I'll do whatever I can up until then to get her and Burr out of office and get a Dem elected.

I explained how extraordinarily wrong this was. That it was inhuman, inhumane, immoral, unAmerican and unChristian (although I am not Christian I believe torture is NOT WJWD).

Thank you for the heads up arnheim. I truly believed Dole and Burr would not hesitate one second on this. Now to cross my fingers.

That is their base and they need to be reminded that not all Christians are pro-torture.

It was passed on Sept. 28 at 6:37 p.m. I'm so disgusted....I'm ready to give up on them!
