Let it be KNOWN as example to FEMA! NC Allowed Pets in Shelters for
Apex Chemical Spill and there were pets galore in the local news views from the shelters!

Good on North Carolina for understanding the NEED to not Let your Pets DIE in case of a Disaster.

The Chem Explosion occured at 10:00 last night when most folks were going to bed with kids who needed to get to school and parents who work. But folks knocked on neighbor's doors when they heard and alerted those "early to bed folks" and those who evacuated took their pets.

It's good that those Shelters allowed the Pets in. It's a good step towards HUMANITY with our LOCAL GOVERNMENTS after what happened with Katrina and in Florida when Evacuees are forced to leave their pets to "forage for their own" in cases of Disaster.

Good on NC for allowing this....
