You do know that a vote for Brad Miller is a vote for homosexuality?

Hahaha, i'm just kidding but his opponent Vernon Robinson A.K.A "The Black Jesse Helms" tends to think differently, here's the story from www.politics1.com.

NORTH CAROLINA: THINGS ARE ALWAYS STRANGER ON PLANET ROBINSON.
Former Winston-Salem City Councilman Vernon Robinson (R-NC) likes to describe himself as "the black Jesse Helms." Over the years Robinson has lost two bids for State Superintendent of Public Instruction and a run for Congress two years ago in a different district. The one constant through all of Robinson's campaigns is his penchant for outrageous conduct. His current run against CD-13 Congressman Brad Miller (D) is no exception. The two men debated this week and Robinson was true to form. Spending much of the debate talking about sex, Robinson charged that Miller "wants to import homosexuals" into the state and supported studies "that would pay teenage girls" to watch porn. Miller refused to take Robinson seriously, spending much of the debate clearly enjoying the absurdity of Robinson's comments and chuckling aloud.

My God, Robinson is making this shit up as he goes along, how is NC residents supposed to take this guy seriously if he keeps saying stuff like Congressman Miller wants to import homosexuals into NC.

And Mr. Robinson besides race you know what the difference between you and Ex-Senator Jesse Helms? Jesse Helms was electable in NC and he was mildly respected within the state, you on the other hand I have to put a rag in my mouth to prevent myself from laughing out loud with all the garbage you been saying.

What a loser, don't ya think?

1. Sadly, some NC residents do take Robinson seriously...
I've seen a couple of "secure the borders" yard signs on my way to work. It's so bizarre - a black candidate (with a twist of Fred Phelps) railing against Mexicans to appeal to the Bubba vote. Guess he's our very own Alan Keyes; just hope the voters of NC boot his a$$, Illinois-style!

7. Greensboro (NC) News-Record endorses Brad Miller (D,NC-13) vs. challenger Vernon Robinson
Greensboro (NC) News-Record endorses Brad Miller (D,NC-13) vs. challenger Vernon Robinson http://www.news-record.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061027/NEWSREC0101/310270013/1037/GTCOM

Rep. Brad Miller, Democratic incumbent in the 13th Congressional District, doesn't come across as the most scintillating candidate.

In contrast, Republican challenger Vernon Robinson arguably is the political equivalent of a spectacular car wreck -- from his fiery rhetoric to ugly ads that blast Miller on issues including illegal immigration, the war against terrorism and gay rights. Try as you might, you can't look away.

If nothing else, this clash between opposites -- Miller, who lives in Raleigh, and Robinson, a former Winston-Salem city councilman -- has made for one of the liveliest congressional races of this election season.
<snip>

But he . . . (Miller). . . also has represented the district reasonably well, supporting policies and sponsoring legislation with direct impact on constituents' lives. More funding for community colleges, key to strengthening the Triad's economy; a grant program to help research universities move innovative ideas into the marketplace; and a federal anti-predatory lending bill modeled on North Carolina's law are among them. Based on his stand on the issues, experience and increasing ability to work across the aisle on citizens' behalf, Miller deserves re-election to a third term in Congress.

<snip>
If Robinson toned down his rhetoric and revealed the nuances in his views more often, he'd deserve more serious consideration. But that's not his style, and the substance Miller has shown in Congress should send him back to Washington for another term.

10. Vernon Robinson is insane
Vernon Robinson reminds me of that character on Dave Chappelle's show where he played the blind grand wizard of the KKK that didn't know he was black. What a total nutbag! I hope the voters in Greensboro have enough sense to make sure Brad Miller is elected to tth 13th district.

12. I have several single gay friends who'd like more homosexuals
to be imported - it would improve their current dating pool. Maybe they could volunteer for the candidate.

Vernon Robinson is another "do anything, say anything" politician who just wants to win an office - from his previous record, any office will do. The man is scum.

If gays were popular, Vernon would be embracing them and showing ads about how gay friendly he is just so he could get elected. Hell, if it would get him enough votes, he'd even admit to sleeping with one now and again.

13. Look, Ma!
I'm voting for homosexuals!

Again!

I somehow got on Mr. Robinson's mailing list, and a nastier bunch of trash I have never seen before. :puke: I had to disinfect my mailbox.
