Chapel Hill Meetup in 1st 2 weeks of December...

Now that the votes are in, we've got some talking to do... I volunteer a fantastic spot on UNC campus for a meeting during the 1st 2 weeks of December. ANY TAKERS LET ME KNOW FAST!!

I'm not too keen on going to McAllisters right now- the E.Coli outbreak seems to be coming from there!

... had essentially no replies until the day before the meetup; and once this fall, we didn't pick a spot for a meetup until about two hours before we actually got together.

November is young yet: and you're speaking about December ... :)

I'm still working out my 'net issues. I have a wide choice of :

1) Getting a new ethernet card for my old PC.
2) Getting a new laptop, which I wuz gonna do anyway. (I looked at that new wireless service, but they aren't in my area yet... I hope soon. The price is comperable to DSL, which I have now.) I'm looking at the Apples. :-)

16. Unfortunately I can't do New Years

We are going to Cancun after Christmas. :-(

I can do anytime between now and Christmas including the weekend before Christmas. If finances are tight I thought I could cook up some chili and we could eat in.

I was just thinking I could do with getting out of here for a while myself. But... I'm stuck for the nonce.

The weekend or Wed-Friday before xmas would be OK too for me. I'm staying at my sister's then but I can go out in the evening. (She thinks she will feel well enough to go shopping during the day, so I'm gonna babysit the grandkids then.)
