progressive PACs and think tanks
After these last couple elections, I've been thinking about the role of PACs and think tanks. Does anyone know of any progressive ones that are issue based and focused on advertising?

It just seems there are issues that resonate with the general public that are still not getting their due attention. What comes to mind are billboards and newspaper ads that would continually address such issues, not just during the run-up to an election. The right wing has been doing this for decades and their libertarian wing has gotten especially good at it. Progressives should get with the program, if they have not already done so.

Any suggestions on what is out there?

Any interest in initiating a local effort?
