Obama North Carolina Offices Seeking More Volunteers

This past weekend, we kicked off our campaign in North Carolina by opening 13 offices across the state -- local headquarters to help organize grassroots supporters from the mountains to the coast.

Thousands of people showed up at our offices around the state, but there's still more to do -- and this weekend is a perfect time to get involved.

North Carolina's deadline to vote on Election Day is coming up on April 11th, and anyone who wants to vote for Barack must be registered as a Democrat or Unaffiliated.

All across the state, tens of thousands of potential Obama supporters might not be registered Democrats, and we need act quickly to reach as many people as possible.

In the coming weeks in North Carolina, we have the opportunity to build a base of support that will help Barack do very well on Primary Day, May 6th.

But more importantly, we have the chance to transform our party and our politics.
By registering new Democrats this weekend, we can send a message that North Carolina is ready for something new -- ready for change that brings us together around a shared goal of a better future for all Americans.

by somebody from the Winston-Salem Obama HQ. I hate politcal calls regardless of candidate. I generally hate the phones anyway. Thank goodness for answering machines to screen the calls. Thenit's a simple delete. We have three voters in our house, all 3 Dems, one voting for his first time and we are active. I just hate fundraisers, those selling products etc...
