...for him today. Came to my door and dropped off propaganda for Lawson. He didn't say much, just shoved the crap into my hand and said to look at it.

I did. BJ Lawson is a REPUBLICAN. THAT alone is enough to ensure he NEVER gets a vote from me.

Another thing is, I LOVE David Price. He's been my rep for years and I'm perfectly happy with him. Not to mention that I am NOT voting for ANY Republican for ANYthing. Ever.

Part of the letter says "if you believe in Liberty and the Constitution...blah blah". Pffft!

Why YES I do and the "defacto one-party system in Durham" (which is what the letter calls a Dem majority in this area) is that way BECAUSE we believe in the Constitution.

Unless we intended to wipe our butts on the Constitution we will NOT be voting Republican in the majority any time soon, because using the Constitution for toilet paper is a Republican practice -- NOT a Democratic one, thankyouverymuch, Mr. Alexander Scholz (the shill who dropped off the propaganda for Lawson).

4. We are really fortunate to have David Price as our

representative in NC. He is smart and honest, a hard worker, and not one of those phony DINO types.

6. I really like him. I've called his offices and they listen...

...answer letters and emails, send updates, and regularly ask constituents for their input. He's pretty consistently voted in ways that best represent me and my ideals and values. NO reason in the world I'd want to have anyone else for a rep! Especially not a Republican! Eeeggh!

Hey Triana, sorry we didn't actually end up talking. I totally respect it if you are happy with Price on most issues, and frustrated with the Reps. It is clear that Republican party is in shambles. I have friends who are so frustrated with either Republicans or else the two party system, that tell me they couldn't vote for Reps. And yet anyone following the campaign knows we on the campaign are
frustrated with this never ending war in Iraq, this never ending war on drugs, the attempt of the NC leadership (including Price) to shove the NBAF (National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility) down our throats regardless of what the people in Butner or Durham want. All this stuff is unconstitutional, and a clear violation of our rights.

Even if Price has done a good job on some things over the years, why did he vote to continue funding the war, why did he push to have the NBAF sited in Butner? I'm sure it wasn't malicious, and yet what am I suppossed to do if his position is clearly in oppostion to mine on these issues if not contest him in an election? And while I repect people who support third parties, third parties have very little influence in North Carolina.
