ND should have a "Democratic-NPL Underground" Gathering
I was thinking maybe at Joe Dimaggio's in beautiful downtown Grand Forks (when it re-opens). It would probably be limited to a "Red River Valley" fest, but that'll be goode enough. Hey, maybe we could bring some 'Peggers! Anybody In? (Cost of food maybe shared by the group, or everyone couls just eat their own food)

1. I'm swamped at work/home but am interested
I won't pull an "Imperial Cass" and suggest we meet in Fargo, either.

3. No, go ahead, by all means!!!
I think we should meet in Fargo. We're a much bigger city.

It's at the 1st floor of the Multiband Tower in Fargo. I've heard the food and drink there is really great. (Wood-fired oven pizza kicks ASS!!!)

5. I'm thinking of Old Broadway in downtown.
They have pretty reasonably-priced lunch specials, and that would be a plus if we choose a weekend date.

6. I vote Fargo
and someplace easy to find. I can get lost in a closet. And this is after living in Bismarck for years.

7. Then there's the cheap beer approach
Edited on Tue Apr-20-04 09:16 PM by markus
Rooters, or anyplace with a reasonably cheap happy hour. But if you want decent food plus decent drink, uh, well, um. Damn, that one of the things about Fargo that drives me insane. Nothing but chain restaurants.

Plus I'm 46 with two kids, 9 and 12, so I don't get out as much as I used to.

So, how many are we, anyway?

Who here is on the Yahoo list that grew out of the main Dean list?
