Angel of Hope
Are not Angels a Christian invention? So why are these being placed in public parks? This one is in Island Park, Fargo ND.

Anyone know anything about this organization? Who pays the $12,500 cost, plus the $3000 to $6000 cost of the base?

"Angel Statues in Place Throughout the World

In addition to the angel in the Salt Lake City cemetery, there are Christmas Box Angels in more than 25 other areas erected by great people just like you. Furthermore, there are nearly 100 in the works, and at least a dozen of these have dedication dates. Visit the Christmas Box House's statue page to see a listing of the Angel Statues in place."

2. I don't think this is something to be concerned about.
I doubt that angels are a Christian invention. I think that angels are a part of many different cultures. A quick google search shows that the Summarians may have believed in angels. Whatever the case, I don't think it's an endorsement of any particular religion. I'm an Agnostic who strongly believes in the separation of church and state and the removal of Ten Commandments monuments from public property, but I think this Angel of Hope monument is quite a bit different than something like a Ten Commandments monument.

3. Maybe but not everyone knows the history
It was in a campaign similar to this that put all those Ten Commandment monuments around the country to help promote the Heston movie.
