“Paul Hackett endorsed onetime rival Rep. Sherrod Brown yesterday as the incumbent Republican that both Democrats hope to see defeated this fall launched a new campaign ad.

Hackett had made no secret of his displeasure at Brown’s decision to enter the Senate race, charging that he was forced out by party leaders to make way for the House member from Avon. But the attorney from Cincinnati said in an interview that he regretted the public perception about lingering acrimony and wanted to show his support for Brown.

I've been pretty harsh towards you on my blog, BSB. On reflection much of it was unfair. After hearing of rumors spread about myself, and then my own wife, I reacted to that. Whether the stories I heard were true or not - or just coming from over active supporters, I don't think that is a good enough excuse to be harsh towards you. So I do apologize sincerely.
