Join Stephanie Studebaker and Paul Hackett at the "Rally for America"
Edited on Wed Jul-19-06 07:06 AM by Tesla
Today I would like to invite you to a very special "RALLY FOR AMERICA" on Saturday, July 29th in Dayton, Ohio.

Stand with Stephanie and Paul as we rally for America

Three years ago President George Bush rushed our country to war in Iraq while Congressman Mike Turner cheered him on. Instead of pursuing Osama Bin Laden, the man responsible for the heinous events of 9/11, our President sent our troops back to Baghdad to pursue a war without end.

We have seen the effects of this war clearly here at home. As of today, the war in Iraq has consumed 2552 brave American patriots. Of the entire nation, only four states have lost more sons and daughters to this war than Ohio.

Stand with Stephanie and Paul as we rally for America

The sheer cost of the war has been estimated to be close to $300 billion dollars. That's money that could have been put into the levies in New Orleans to prevent the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, invested into port security to prevent another terrorist attack, or spent fufilling the promise of healthcare we made to the millions of veterans who have bravely served our country. However, instead of taking care of America and Americans, this Congress and President have turned their backs to our country to pursue their own agenda in Iraq, not ours.

The war in Iraq is a moral issue, not an issue of politics. I personally believe that we should never have invaded Iraq in 2003, and that our energy and efforts would have been better suited to tracking down Osama Bin Laden. But regardless of what we should have done all that time ago, today we face the question: "what do we do today to make our country stronger tomorrow?"

My answer, and the answer of millions of Americans across this country, is that we must bring our troops home as quickly and honorably as possible. And we must never forget that we owe our veterans all the support - and healthcare - they have earned in service to our great nation.

Join with me and my friend Paul Hackett on Saturday, July 29th at 11:15am in Dayton, Ohio in Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Park. There we will rally for America as we demand for an end to the Iraq War and that we never turn our back on the debt that we owe to our veterans. Please click on a link in this email to my webpage where you can learn more about our rally, and let us know you will be there.

Together we will make a difference,
