I heard something funny at a non-political fundraiser yesterday. It seems that the R establishment may be coming to terms with supporting Blackwell by saying, "anyone who gets in there will be better than Taft."

So, four years ago when R insiders were blabbing about the ineptness of Taft, they gave him a pass anyway, and now they're kind of using reverse logic?

All you marketing and public relations experts out there, we need to counter this babble with a consistent message about how destructive a Blackwell governorship would be. How and in what words? One of my thoughts is that Taft is too dumb to even be corrupt (convictions aside). We already know about the corrupt dealings of Ken Blackwell....
