24th House District. Repuke Geoffrey Smith being challenged by Ted Celeste.

“***
The two are running one of the most competitive legislative races in Franklin County, and after a joint appearance at the Dispatch yesterday, it’s clear voters in the 24 th House District will have little trouble distinguishing between the two.

Whether it’s education funding, casino gambling, taxes or mental health insurance coverage, Smith and Celeste disagree plenty.
***
‘Being a Republican, I think we benefited (from one-party control), but it also causes a lot more internal fighting. So has it been a disaster? I would say no, not necessarily. But there have been a few selfish individuals who have made some mistakes, and I’m quite frankly very upset about it.’
***
Celeste wants Ohio to require health insurance plans to offer the same coverage for mental illness as they do for physical ailments. He said it would not increase costs for business, but Smith is not convinced.
