Zachary Daubenmire Allegedly Downloaded Material On PC

NEWARK, Ohio -- The son of Dave Daubenmire, who was once sued by the American Civil Liberties Union for having players pray before games, was arrested this week after child pornography was allegedly found on a family computer.

Zachary Daubenmire, 24, was arrested on Tuesday after acknowledging he has downloaded child pornography to detectives, the Newark Advocate reported on Thursday.

The newspaper cited an affidavit filed in Licking County Municipal Court, saying a computer technician who Dave Daubenmire hired to transfer information on an old computer to a new one discovered the files.

Zachary Daubenmire was charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor. He was freed on bond, the newspaper reported.
