Independent fighter for Ohio families?
Edited on Thu Sep-14-06 09:05 AM by OhioBlues
Has anyone else noticed how the republican Mike Dewine is trying to deny his republican "heritage". He wants to be an Independent fighter because like a rat he wants to leave the republican ship before it sinks.

However, I do believe that his statement is misleading others who pay little attention, into believing he's an independent.

Link if you can handle him.

2. I am biased, but Dewine's site just looks uninspired and soulless
This is the best Dewine can say about terror & the troops:

Protecting Our Families Against Terror

Senator DeWine serves on the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, where he has helped lead the investigation into intelligence lapses both before and after September 11th. He knows that the safety of our families is linked to the quality of our intelligence. That's why he worked to responsibly boost the budget for intelligence and now spends countless hours every week watching over intelligence agencies so that they have the tools they need to identify threats to our safety.

Fighting for Those Who Fight for Us
Senator DeWine worked on a bipartisan basis to create the FIRE Act, which has brought $100 million directly to local Ohio fire stations and first responders. This money buys the equipment and training that our first responders need to protect our families, homes, and businesses from natural disasters and terrorist attacks. Senator DeWine also has fought successfully to increase the benefits for the families of service members who have lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. And, he has worked tirelessly to give our troops the best equipment to keep them safe. He helped increase funding by over $1.3 billion for specially armored Humvee trucks to protect our service members in combat.
