Kilroy’s gains likely won’t be enough
"If yet-to-be-counted votes follow patterns of those already tallied in the 15 th Congressional District, Democrat Mary Jo Kilroy would gain almost 1,800 votes districtwide on incumbent Deborah Pryce but still fall short."

from the Columbus Dispatch:

How do we know until we count the vote?

I worked driving a circuit on election day and over 250 Provisional Ballots were cast
in the 19 precincts I covered .... all in heavy democratic areas too.

God, I hate the Dispatch.

"A precinct-by-precinct Dispatch analysis of uncounted absentee and provisional ballots
in Franklin County shows Kilroy gaining more than 2,000 votes."

I want to see their math .... this is the dispatch trying to help Pryce.

4. they are just assuming similar ratios
that the absentees come in similar to the previously counted absentees, and that the provisionals come in similarly to the precinct.

Futher down in the same article they issue some disclaimers to their methodology, most especially the likely high % of D votes in the provisionals.

Bottom line, they don't know. But they know we want to know and why not throw some cold water on the Kilroy campaign in the process.

Our liberal media at work. ;-(

The story had a purpose to get the idea out that after
the count Pryce would still be the winner.

I don't trust Matt Damschroder @ the B.O.E. after he
shorted machines in '04 and the Dispatch has an agenda
end of story.

NY Times much better article.

6. The Columbus Dispatch is a rightwing rag
I'm not giving up. I want that dreadful Pryce GONE! Also,I'm hoping that evil American Veterans hating bitch Schmidt loses too. What she said about John Murtha is UNACCEPTABLE and she should not be rewarded for it either.
